How it all began
I’d always loved taking photos for family and friends, and that ‘photo bug’ quickly grew into a passion. I found my way into photography during a major turning point in my life. After 14 years as a paralegal working nearly 60 hours a week, I began fostering — and eventually adopting — three small children who had already been through so much. I knew they needed me fully present, so I took a leap of faith, left my career, and stayed home with them. Sixteen years, three more kids, three grandbabies, and two dogs later… I’m still here, still grateful, and still capturing life’s most meaningful moments.

My promise to you

I know family sessions can feel a little overwhelming, especially when little ones are involved. Please don’t stress about perfectly posed moments or perfectly behaved kids — that’s never my goal. The beauty of family photography lives in the quiet, in‑between moments: the cuddles, the giggles, the movement, and the love you share without even thinking about it. I take my time with every session, adjusting the pace and the flow to fit your family’s personality so you can relax, breathe, and simply be yourselves. That’s where the magic happens.
